Richard has been with Junior Achievement (JA) since graduation, celebrating over 30 years with JA Tampa Bay. He has served as President since 1985.     Cydnee Dennison is the Community Outreach Manager at Special Olympics Florida Healthy Community, Tampa Bay. With the help of volunteer medical providers, Special Olympics Healthy Community delivers free health screenings, wellness classes, and healthcare coordination to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ms. Dennison is working on her Master of Public Health from the George Washington University. She has worked with Special Olympics for almost 3 years, and falls more in love with the organization each day.

    Louise Thompson, Executive Director

    TBCN’s executive director since May 2003, Louise Thompson is responsible for the recruitment and retention of staff and volunteers, maintaining an operational budget, a 5,000-square-feet facility at the University Mall with a main studio and edit suite, the maintenance and upgrading of a million-dollar inventory of video production equipment, revenue generation activities, community outreach efforts and contract compliance with local government.  Since July 2002, Thompson has also hosted a live, hour-long, call-in TBCN series called “Speak Up Presents,” where she interviews panels of three or more guests who are generally related through their work, charitable activities, community leadership or special interests.  They convey information of interest to viewers.

    The recipient of many awards, she was chosen “2006 Executive Woman of the Year” by the Network of Executive Women and a finalist for Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2005 "Business Woman of the Year in Media.” In 2003, the national Alliance for Community Media presented her with its Director’s Choice Award for defense of public access and the First Amendment.  Tampa’s Italian Club Auxiliary named her 2002 Italian-American Woman in Business.  She was previously named “Woman of the Year” by a chapter of Business & Professional Women, “One of the Bay Area’s 50 Most Influential Women” by Tampa Bay Life Magazine and was listed in Who’s Who in Editors, Writers & Poets.  Creative Loafing Newspaper named her “Best of the Bay” four times: in 2000, for her efforts on behalf of public access television; in 1996 for women’s issues; in 1994, for community issues and in 1993, for leadership and ethics.

    A former employee of General Foods, IBM, Boise Cascade and CNA Financial corporations, Thompson was CEO of an award-winning advertising, marketing and public relations firm for two decades, a freelance writer, author and speaker.  Thompson is a USF honors graduate with a B.A. in Mass Communications.

    Sr. Anne Dougherty, OSF, D. Min

    President / CEO

    Originally from Philadelphia, Sr. Anne is a Franciscan Sister of Allegany, NY. She holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Nova Southeastern University and a doctorate in pastoral counseling from the Graduate Theological Foundation. She is certified in critical stress management and serves as chaplain to both the Tampa Police Department and the FBI Tampa. She also currently serves on the Tampa Bay Regional Critical Incident Team. Sister Anne is certified as a spiritual director and received her training from Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre in Canada, and the Haden Institute in North Carolina. Sr. Anne directs Operation Restore for First Responders Post Trauma Training and Compassion Fatigue retreats.

    Andrew Warren was sworn in as State Attorney of Florida’s 13th Judicial Circuit, Hillsborough County, on January 3, 2017, after being elected in November 2016. Mr. Warren leads an office of approximately 125 prosecutors and over 300 total employees whose mission is to protect the residents of Hillsborough County as well as ensure the fair and impartial application of the law in our criminal justice system. Mr. Warren previously served as a federal prosecutor with the United States Department of Justice in Tampa, FL, and Washington, DC. After prosecuting street crime as a Special Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Columbia in 2008, Mr. Warren spent the majority of his career at the Justice Department prosecuting complex white collar crime, including investment fraud, Medicare fraud, and foreign corruption. Among other high-profile cases, he successfully prosecuted Robert Allen Stanford and other executives at Stanford Financial Group for orchestrating one of the largest frauds in history, a $7 billion Ponzi scheme. As a prosecutor, Mr. Warren earned multiple accolades from the Justice Department and federal law enforcement agencies, including the 2013 Attorney General Award for Trial Litigation. He has lectured and served on panels across the United States and abroad regarding criminal justice. He has also served as an instructor at the Justice Department’s National Advocacy Center in South Carolina. Mr. Warren attended Brandeis University, graduating magna cum laude in 1999 with a double-major in economics and political science. He graduated from Columbia University Law School with honors in 2002. Following law school, Mr. Warren clerked for the Honorable Samuel Conti in federal district court in San Francisco, CA, and then practiced complex criminal and civil litigation with an international law firm in New York, NY, and Washington, DC. Born and raised in Gainesville, Florida, Mr. Warren returned home to the Sunshine State to continue his public service. He lives in Tampa with his wife and two daughters.

In addition to his publishing efforts, Peter is a political consultant to several of the state’s largest governmental affairs and public relations firms. Peter lives in St. Petersburg with his wife, Michelle and their daughter, Ella.
